Summit Racing Equipment Extends ARCA Performance Partners Program Sponsorship
(TALLMADGE, Ohio) - Summit Racing Equipment has extended its sponsorship program within the ARCA Performance Partners Program. Summit will once again serve as a contingency sponsor for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards.
Summit Racing Equipment is the world's largest mail-order automotive performance equipment company. Headquartered in Tallmadge, Ohio, the company has three retail store and distribution centers: Tallmadge, Ohio; Sparks, Nev.; and McDonough, Ga.
"2010 marked Summit's initial involvement with oval track racing as a sponsor," said Mark Gundrum, vice president of marketing and communications for ARCA. "I believe that this is only the beginning of a very exciting relationship between ARCA and Summit Racing."
The 2011 Summit Racing Equipment Performance Partners Contingency Awards Program will offer $300 per event to teams carrying the Summit Racing Equipment decal, and a $2,000 cash bonus at the season-ending Championship Awards Banquet.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards opens its 59th season of competition in the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 on February 12 at Daytona International Speedway. The 80-lap, 200-mile race - the first of 19 races for the developmental stock car tour in 2011 - will air live on SPEED.
