The Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports team is looking forward to Salem Speedway, especially after their very solid runs there in the past Last year while running in the second position nearing the end of the race, Bowsher was cutting away at the leader's advantage when engine failure forced the GFS Marketplace car behind the wall just 48 laps from the finish relegating them to a disappointing 24th place finish. The 2004 spring race caught Bowsher once again with engine problems only 64 laps into the 200 lap event.

Despite Bowsher's unfortunate luck at Salem in the spring, the half-mile high banked oval at Salem has always been one of his better tracks in terms of results and this weekend expect no less, the Bowsher team is heading to the Salem Speedway looking to improve on those results. "We've made some improvements since we were there in the spring." said Bowsher, "This is the last short track race of the season and we're looking to show our true potential, we had a strong run going in Toledo, running 2nd with the fuel miscalculation, so we've got something to make up for at Salem, we're looking to be right there with the leaders when the checkered flag comes down."

The ARCA ReMax Series is live on the SPEED channel at 8pm eastern time, under the lights at Salem Speedway for the Eddie Gilstrap Motors Fall Classic on Saturday September 18.
