On Thursday afternoon at Pocono Raceway Todd Bowsher qualified the GFS Marketplace #21 solidly in the field with a 13th place starting position. The Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports Crew tweaked and tuned on their Ford Taurus after Pork Pole Qualifying for "Happy Hour" on Friday morning, but the fog moved in on the Pocono Mountains and the ARCA ReMax Series cars never got a final practice session due to visibility. The GFS Team prepared the car for race conditions on Saturday afternoon.

Although the weather looked questionable on Saturday morning, the rain gave way for the start of the Giant 200 at 1:00pm and Todd quickly learned that they had made the right adjustments on the GFS Marketplace Ford as he was in the mix with the leaders most of the day. The crew performed well on pit road and serviced the GFS Marketplace Taurus without a hitch and got Bowsher back on track in minimal time. Todd cruised back to the front runners and carried the #21 to a career best Pocono finish of 7th.

Following the checkered flag, Bowsher said, "I knew coming into Pocono that we were gonna have a good car here, we were a little tight in the first practice, but we made some changes for qualifying and it really made a big difference, we didn't get to practice on Friday because of the fog, but this morning we changed the gear and that really gave us the edge we needed for the race. All in all we were competitively consistent all day, this was a good strong race for all of us, my crew got me on and off pit road, they really step up when I need them. We got a strong top 10 here today and we'll carry that momentum to Lake Erie with us next week."

The GFS Team will be back in action on the short track at Lake Erie Speedway next Saturday, August 7 for the ARCA 200 by Hamot/Siemens, Giant Eagle & Pork, with a race time of 8:00pm.
