Lebanon, Tenn. -- Marc Mitchell will line his No. 93 Ergon Chevrolet up in the ninth position for tomorrow's Nashville ARCA 150 for the ARCA RE/MAX Series at the Nashville Superspeedway. On a frigid day in the hills of Tennessee, Mitchell toured the 1.33 mile concrete oval in 29.722 sec., good for 161.456 mph.

"That was a good lap for us. We actually picked up a little from where we practiced," sounded the Tallahassee, Fla. native. "I left a little bit out there, which is encouraging for the race, but I didn't want to take a chance. I feel great about our chances tomorrow."

Colder temperatures are expected for tomorrow's event. Crew chief Rusty Clanton noted a few factors to take into consideration.

"These cold temperatures are great for the motors. We can make great power when the air is able to expand," said Clanton. "But for the first few laps of the race, and even on restarts, you have to be very careful because there is no heat in the tires and no heat can mean less grip. It's almost like riding around on hockey pucks."
