iHigh teams up with Howard and CIMCO Racing for Nashville.
Indianapolis, IN (4-9-02) -- CIMCO Racing announced today that iHigh.com, the official high school Internet network, will be their primary sponsor for this weekend's Nashville ARCA RE/MAX race.
Through a partnership with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), iHigh.com provides high schools the opportunity to easily create and maintain their own web sites within the iHigh.com network. As a result, having links to nearly 17,000 high schools gives students, parents, alumni, and other supporters the ability to find school athletic and other activity information on a local, state and national level.
In addition, iHigh offers audio, video, Internet and print media coverage for post-season tournaments and state championship events.
"I'm very excited about having iHigh.com come aboard for our next race," exclaimed 16-year-old Shelby Howard, driver for CIMCO Racing. "I can not only relate to the age group they are involved with, but we share in our support of high school athletics and activities. It is a perfect fit!"
"It's exciting to be involved with a high school student excelling at the demanding and challenging sport of auto racing," said Tim Campbell, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of iHigh, Inc. "Shelby is showing that hard work and a personal commitment bring accomplishment and that's the message we like to send to high school students every day."
Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, iHigh has committed to the team for Nashville at this point, but the talks will continue about their future involvement immediately following the event.
iHigh, Incorporated, the driving force behind iHigh.com, has quickly become the chief marketing platform used to reach millions of high school students and school officials all over the United States. Companies of all sizes work with iHigh to develop programs that will reach teenagers and their families.
Howard will climb in the #64 iHigh.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the PFG Lester 150 when the ARCA RE/MAX Series tackles the concrete of the Nashville Superspeedway on Friday, April 12th. The race will be aired by The Outdoor Channel on a tape-delayed basis on Saturday, April 20 at 4 p.m. ET.
