#37 Bean and Team GLOCK Want to Make a Milestone at Michigan
Dexter Bean and Team GLOCK will compete in the ninth race of the ARCA RE/MAX schedule in the Racing For Wildlife 200 at Michigan International Speedway on Friday, June 13th and are anxious for their first win!
Dexter will be piloting the 021 chassis. He tested this car at Michigan on May 28th, so they have an idea about how it will run at the scenic Irish Hills track. "I learned a lot about the car at Michigan including information on the springs and front end settings. I like the wide racetrack at Michigan there is a lot of room to maneuver."
It is the same chassis that was tested in Rockingham and the car that he drove in Iowa. Dexter didn't get a chance to show fans what the car was made of in Iowa due to a cut tire at the beginning of the race that sent him into turn 2 wall.
After a seventh place finish at Pocono last weekend and a third place finish at Toledo the week prior, Dexter is prepared to have another strong finish. The two mile track would be a great place for Team GLOCK Racing's first win of the season. "We should have a good weekend there. I led some laps at the Michigan race last year, so hopefully I can be in the lead when I cross the finish line," said Dexter.
Practice for the Racing for Wildlife 200 will begin on Thursday, June 12 at 10am and will continue until 12pm. SIM Factory Pole Qualifying (All positions will qualify 2 laps) will begin at 3pm on Thursday. The race will begin on Friday, June 13th at 5:15pm EST and will be televised live from the SPEED Channel.
