Toledo, OH - With a weekend off from the Winston Cup world, NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader will join the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series warriors on the quarter mile Anderson Speedway Indiana oval Sunday, May 14th for the Anderson ARCA 300.

Schrader, the defending race winner, has entered a Federated Auto Parts sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the 300 lap short-track war.

In last year's event, Schrader led 127 laps and held off a late-race charge from Frank Kimmel to earn his 6th career ARCA victory. In all, the veteran Concord, North Carolina driver has 19 ARCA starts posting 7 career wins, 10 top-5s and 12 top-10s. Additionally, he has led 782 laps in 12 events.

Indicative of Schrader's versatility, his ARCA victories include wins on the Hagerstown Speedway half mile dirt oval in 1990, the Topeka, Kansas road course in '91, the 1-mile Indianapolis fairgrounds dirt oval in '94, the half mile paved Toledo Speedway in '97, the 1-mile Springfield dirt oval in '98 as well as two wins in '99 at Anderson and on the half mile paved Salem Speedway.

Practice begins at 10:30 AM local time followed by Talladega Pole Award qualifying at 12:30. The Anderson ARCA 300 is scheduled to roll off at 3 PM.
