ALLGAIER ROLLS DICE INTO KENTUCKY
Sparta, Kentucky (July 6, 2006) - Justin Allgaier rolls the dice as he heads to the Kentucky Speedway for his second ARCA RE/MAX Series race of the season for Friday nights Channel 5-150. Allgaier will also be playing his hand at attempting to qualify for the Built Ford Tough 225 presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event slated for Saturday evening.
"I enjoy Kentucky," Justin Allgaier said. "I had a great run there in the spring event and I am hoping to bring home a better finish if not a win. We had some bad luck the last couple ARCA races and I'm hoping to turn that around. We've been running pretty well in the truck. I was hoping to bring home to the Mittler's, a top-15 finish last week but we just couldn't get it dialed in the way we wanted. We are looking forward to heading to Kentucky to see what we can do for them in the No. 63 Craftsman Truck."
Allgaier has something else to look forward to in Kentucky. The Cincinnati, Ohio based United States Playing Card Company announced an associate sponsorship with Allgaier in the ARCA RE/MAX Series starting at Kentucky Speedway, Friday, July 7, 2006 in conjunction with an upcoming promotion -- "Race to Savings".
"Race to Savings" is geared towards the public in which the US Playing Card Company will be offering substantial savings on some of their top of the line Poker sets. "Race to Savings" begins July 10 and runs until December 31, 2006, or while supplies last. The official announcement will be made during the Kentucky Speedway weekend July 7th and 8th.
Consumers can log on to www.usplayingcard.com and click on Bicycle Poker "Race to Savings" to choose from a selected number of Bicycle and World Poker Tour (WPT) Poker sets. The cost is the same for any of the select Poker sets, just $60.00. The suggested retail price on these Poker sets run from $199.00 to $249.00.
"We are really honored to be working with The United States Playing Card Company," Allgaier said. "The company is the oldest playing card company and we are excited to help them with the upcoming promotion. It is a great deal for poker players on some of the top brands in poker sets. I know how many teams play every weekend after the race; our team included. I play with my friends as much as I can when I have some off time and I know there have to be a lot of race fans playing as well. It is a great opportunity for me and I hope to have a successful run for them the rest of the season."
Allgaier takes to the track Friday, July 7, 2006 for the running of the ARCA RE-MAX Series Channel 5 150 which will be broadcast live on SPEED beginning at 9pm ET.
