ALLGAIER DRIVES DOUBLE DUTY IN KANSAS

Kansas City, Kansas (June 28, 2006) - ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie Justin Allgaier heads to Kansas Speedway for double duty racing as he plans on competing in both the ARCA RE/MAX Series Kansas Lottery $200 Grand as well as the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 NASCAR Craftsman Trucks Series event. Both events are slated for Saturday, July 1st.

Allgaier took to the track for the first time this season in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race last weekend at the Milwaukee Mile driving the No. 63 Dave Porter Truck Sales Ford. He brought home a solid 22nd place finish for the team that has been struggling before putting Allgaier in the seat.

"We had a good truck last weekend in Milwaukee," Justin Allgaier said. "I was happy to qualify the truck and bring home a decent finish for Mike Mittler. We had a lot of fun and were able to iron out some things in the truck which helped them and I always enjoy a good Craftsman Truck race."

Allgaier is no stranger to the Kansas Speedway. In 2005, he also competed in both events. Allgaier faired better in his ARCA RE/MAX car than he did in the Craftsman Truck; crashing after only 68 laps into the event.

"We had a crazy day driving in both races last year," Allgaier said. "We got caught up in an accident early in the truck race which was very disappointing. We also struggled in the ARCA car and realized when we got it back to the shop, that we actually had a road course rear end in it. We were lucky we ran as well as we did finishing 13th. We are definitely more prepared this weekend and should have a car capable of running well in the No. 16 Century Trading-Hoosier Tire Midwest Chevrolet. I know the Mittler's have put together a good truck for us as well. My goal is to qualify and finish both races as close to the front as possible. From the amount of work both these teams have put into these race vehicles, I think it is an achievable goal."

The O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event begins Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 2:15pm CT and will be broadcast live on SPEED beginning at 2:00pm CT. It may also be heard live on MRN, XM Satellite Radio and their affiliates beginning at 2:15pm CT.

The Kansas Lottery $200 Grand ARCA RE/MAX Series event begins immediately following at 4:45pm CT. The event will be taped for broadcast Sunday, July 2, 2006 beginning at 3:00pm ET on SPEED.
