J.R. Norris to Make ARCA Debut in Nashville

Mooresville, NC: 26-year-old J.R. Norris, the 2006 NASCAR AutoZone Elite Champion and Team Full Throttle Development Driver, will make his ARCA RE/MAX Series debut on April 7th at the Nashville Super Speedway. Norris will drive the Bobby Jones-owned Dodge that he tested this past week.

"I've had some really good success at Nashville in the Elite Series," said Norris, "and I am excited about the opportunity to debut in ARCA with winning equipment." Last month, Norris joined David Stremme at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a successful Busch Series test with Fitz Motorsports.

Bobby Jones has been a standout team over the years in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. He and his team most recently visited Victory Lane last season at Gateway International Speedway to celebrate an ARCA win with rookie Cale Gale.

"We are very prepared to run strong at Nashville with J.R.," said Jones, "our test went exceptionally well and we have put together the resources to make a serious bid for the win."
