RAB RACING AND TOWNLEY GLEAN VALUABLE DATA FROM DAYTONA TEST

[IMAGE]Concord, NC (12/22/08) John Wes Townley and RAB Racing successfully attended the open ARCA RE/MAX Series test this weekend, December 19th and 20th, at Daytona International Speedway. The

18-year-old Watkinsville, GA native posted the 9th fastest time in single car runs with a speed of 180.397 mph and the 12th fastest time in overall drafting runs with a speed of 181.715 mph.

"I can't put a value on what we accomplished," stated Blake Bainbridge, Crew Chief of the No. 09 Zaxby's Ford Fusion. "The test went really well and we made tremendous gains not only as a team, but I know John Wes got some great seat time. We didn't participate in very many drafting runs because I was very happy with our car in a pack. John Wes did very well and got a little more experience with the car and the way it handles around other cars in those conditions."

"This was the first time our new Nationwide Series group has worked together as a team," continued Bainbridge. "I feel that everyone worked well together and this was a great opportunity to prepare and organize for 2009."

Bainbridge also decided after the second full day of on track activity to trim the three-day test down due to good performance and the desire to limit opportunities for an incident in drafting practice.
