Braselton, GA (Feb. 27, 2003) - Horsepower Development owner Mark Mancinelli today announced the signing of ARCA/REMAX driver Kevin Belmont of Feasterville, PA to a multi-race deal. The 2002 Reed Cams Most Improved Driver will run at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the 2nd event of the season for the ARCA/REMAX Series March 8 in the Mancinelli #38 Pontiac, with additional races planned for this season.

"Kevin is one of the most well rounded racer I've been around and it is certainly beneficial to have him on board," Mancinelli said. "Kevin has a lot of talent and I think I have the business sense to get a team together if we can come up with a couple of decent marketing partners."

Belmont, who tested Atlanta with Horsepower Development, last week, was able to quickly tune in the set up for the 1.54 mile speedway, the fastest track on the circuit, and to develop an immediate chemistry with crew chief Randy Beeken and the team members.

"It is great to have this opportunity with an organization like Mancinelli's," said Belmont, who felt confident with the equipment and team performance during Atlanta testing. "We'll ease into the first part of this season with some selected races and will charge into a full schedule once sponsorship is secured."

Kevin Belmont started last year's Atlanta race in 34th position and finished in 24th.
