Mac Tools to Sponsor Erin Crocker and the No. 98 Dodge Charger in Four ARCA RE/MAX Series Races

STATESVILLE, N.C. (April 4, 2007) -- Evernham Motorsports is proud to announce that Mac Tools will be the primary sponsor of the No. 98 Mac Tools/Mac Card Dodge Charger driven by Erin Crocker in the ARCA RE/MAX Series for four races.

"Mac Tools has been associated with auto racing for many years," said Mac Tools Sports Marketing Manager, Tony Merritt. "We're looking forward to this partnership with our debut in the ARCA series. More importantly, we're eager to partner with Erin Crocker, one of the bright, talented drivers on the circuit."

The four race primary sponsorship will begin with the April 27th race at Kansas Speedway and continue at Kentucky Speedway on May 12th, Pocono Raceway on June 9th and Michigan International Speedway on June 15th. Three of these races will be televised on the Speed Channel: The April 27th and June 15th race at 5 p.m. EST and the June 9th race at 8 p.m. EST.

"It's certainly exciting to partner with Mac Tools. They are a world class company that has a strong tradition of success in racing." explained driver Erin Crocker. "Mac Tools has also been a long time partner of Evernham Motorsports, and I'm looking forward to working with them."

The Mac Tools Mac Card Dream Garage Sweepstakes will be the main promotional marketing initiative supporting this sponsorship. The Dream Garage Sweepstakes will run until the end of June and will give one of five lucky winners the opportunity to win $40,000 in tools to be given away at the NASCAR Nextel Cup race in Bristol, TN in August.

"Our Mac Card financing program is the finest in the mobile tool industry, and we are proud to be in partnership with HSBC to provide our Distributors with a great financing program to help their customers get the products they need, when they need them," says, Trish Pieper, Chief Financial Officer for Mac Tools. She also adds, "The Mac Tools / Mac Card ARCA Dodge will increase awareness of our credit card program."

HSBC North America's Business Solutions group, the commercial arm of HSBC's Retail Services business, manages the Mac Card private label credit program for Mac Tools' commercial customers.

"HSBC is delighted that the Mac Card is going to play such an integral role in the upcoming ARCA series races," said Brian Zempel, managing director of sales and marketing for HSBC Retail Services. "During our three-year relationship, Mac Tools has consistently integrated the Mac Card into the company's marketing efforts, making the program a real success for Mac Tools, its customers and HSBC

Crocker has competed in 13 career ARCA events, logging four poles, six top-fives and eight top-10s. In her most recent start at Daytona, she took the pole, becoming only the second woman in ARCA history to lead the field to the green flag at the high banks of Daytona Int'l Speedway.

"We are extremely happy to have Mac Tools come on board in support of our ARCA program," said Keith Barnwell, general manager of ARCA and Busch Series competition at Evernham Motorsports. "Winning the pole at Daytona and running up front with the lead pack showed that this team will be competing for wins. Having the support of Mac Tools will assist our efforts and move us closer to that first win."
