DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 8, 2008) -- Ken Butler, III, affectionately known to friends and family as KB or KB3, is poised to run his first race at Daytona International Speedway in Saturday's ARCA 200. 2008 marks Butler's first full season in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Wheeling the No. 22 Aaron's Toyota Camry for Eddie Sharp Racing, Butler is ready to rock and roll in the next step of his racing career.

"I am so excited to be here," stated Butler, with a huge grin. "We tested here in December, but to be here and to actually race on this track is indescribable. I mean, it's Daytona!"

In preparation for his Daytona debut, Butler participated in both the ARCA RE/MAX Series open test at DIS in December and in a team test session at Talladega Superspeedway in recent weeks. Butler was 22nd on the speed charts in the December test.

"Both tests went really well," commented Butler. "The tracks are pretty different. Daytona is a lot harder to drive. It's bumpier so it requires a little more effort from the seat." Butler added, "the Talladega test helped us, though. We found some more speed there and should be good and competitive at Daytona."

Butler ran more than seven ARCA RE/MAX Series races in the 2007 season, making him ineligible to compete for 2008 Rookie of the Year honors.
