BUESCHER AT DAYTONA... Buescher has made two career starts at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, both of which came last year in 2009. In his only ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards start, Buescher drove the No. 32 Wolf Pack Rentals car to Victory Lane in his first race on the famed 2.5-mile superspeedway. The Texas native started from the seventh position and led a total 44 of 80 laps en route to his victory. Buescher also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event last February, where he qualified in 13th-place and was passing for the lead when another competitor made contact to the rear of the truck.

ON THE HOOD... Phoenix Construction Services, a Lynn Haven, Florida-based business, will adorn the hood of the No. 51 James Finch-owned entry for Saturday's ARCA Racing Series season-opening race.

CHASSIS INFORMATION... This week, the Phoenix Racing team will unload a familiar chassis to Buescher. The 19-year-old will pilot the same car that he won the ARCA Racing Series race with last February at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, as well as capturing the pole position at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in 2008. This will be the third ARCA race for this particular chassis.

ARCA SUCCESS... Buescher has obtained a great amount of success in his short ARCA career, which began in 2007. In a total of 18 races, the young gun has tallied three wins (Lakeland -- '07; Daytona -- '09; Kentucky -- '09), seven top-five finishes, along with 11 top-10 finishes. Buescher has also led a total of 266 laps in ARCA competition and claimed one pole award (Talladega -- '08).

DID YOU KNOW?... In addition to Buescher's impressive Daytona resume, Phoenix Racing has their own rich history at the legendary superspeedway, as the Spartanburg, S.C.-based race team has claimed three ARCA Racing Series victories at DIS. Phoenix Racing also has won three ARCA Racing Series superspeedway championships.

LOOKING AHEAD... After this weekend's ARCA race, Buescher and his Marc Reno and Nick Harrison-led team will look ahead to their full-time effort in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in the No. 1 Chevrolet Impala. Buescher's Nationwide Series team will provide support on his ARCA car this weekend, which will allow the pair to gain more experience together before the season-opener on February 13th.

FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Daytona in the ARCA Racing Series): "We have the same car that I won the race at Daytona with last year, so I'm pretty excited. I've only raced this car twice and it has a pole and a win, so that's not a bad record at all. I have my Nationwide Series team working on my car and this should give us a good step heading into our main race next week. Hopefully, we can repeat and start 2010 off with a win."

BUESCHER (On working with other drivers in the draft): "This year, there are a lot of new drivers who haven't raced at Daytona before and during the test we had in December, I tried to work in the draft with a lot of them. I've been in their shoes and you just want to get out there and get experience. Unfortunately when you first start out, no one wants to be out there with you, but people helped me when I first started so I figured I return the favor and help some others out as much as possible."
