Flat Rock MI, 7-1-00 - Chad Guinn, in the Sonic Expediting Ford, was on a victory lane expedition and traveled at sonic speed to get there.

The Erie, Michigan driver, who started big with the Hoosier Tire Pole Award, out-classed a strong field of 22 Trucks to win the 100 lap ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series main event Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway.

Polesitter Guinn overhauled veteran Robbin Slaughter on lap 22 and never looked back to win his 3rd career ARCA Truck feature event. Johnny Witham, in AJ Pate's Fab Shop Ford, raced by Slaughter to finish second with Slaughter, in the Carmen's Vacuum-NAPA Ford, trailing in third. Defending ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series champion Bill Withers finished fourth in his Mannings USA-Hall Electronics Ford ahead of Bobby Marvin who completed the top-five. Marvin hustled his Ed & Company-Stat Express Delivery Ford from the 12th starting finish to claim his top-five finish earning the Ed & Company Hard Charger Award for advancing the most positions.

Troy Marciniak finished sixth in front of Michael Carter Jr, Paul Hahn, David Clay and Jeff Speakman to complete the top-10 respectively. Guinn also won the Cloyes Gear Halfway Leader Award as well as the Revenge Pole-Win Bonus for winning the race from the pole position.
