Construct Corps teams up with Brack Maggard Racing for full 2006 season.
Denver, NC (4-10-2006) - Construct Corps, a construction staffing firm out of Tampa, FL, announced today that they will be teaming up with Brack Maggard Racing (BMR) and Damon Lusk as the primary sponsor for the remainder of the 2006 ARCA RE/MAX Series season. Having so much in common with BMR, Construct Corps chose to partner with the young, extremely driven team lead by Robby Benton and driver Damon Lusk.
"We are thrilled about its new partnership with BMR racing," Scott Tashkin, President of Construct Corps said. "BMR and Construct Corps are youthful enthusiastic teams with solid leadership. Both are poised to compete with older more established competitors, while staying on the fast track for growth."
Construct Corps is a construction staffing firm that specializes in providing quality skilled tradespeople nationwide on a temporary basis to commercial, industrial, and residential construction contractors. Construct Corps was founded in 2000 by industry executives with an impressive record for growth. They combined prior experiences and applied their successful philosophies to create a new company in tough economic times.
"Partnering with Robby Benton and BMR was a natural fit from the time the companies met," Tashkin continued. "The attention to detail, youthfulness, and excitement brought from hardworking individuals displayed by Robby Benton, Damon Lusk, and the entire team at BMR is exactly the type of class organization Construct Corps models itself after and chooses to be associated with."
The teaming up of BMR and Construct Corps gives Lusk his first shot to compete in a full ARCA RE/MAX Series season. Lusk, who has amassed 34 career ARCA RE/MAX Series starts, along with two wins at Atlanta and Pocono in 2002, has already a proven himself as a contender for this 2006 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship finishing 5th at ARCA's season opener in Daytona.
"I think I am more thrilled for the folks at Construct Corps than they are," Lusk said. "So far, I have been really fortunate for this opportunity to drive for Brack Maggard and the entire Brack Maggard Racing team, so now, to be able to represent a Company with the values and integrity that I believe in myself, I feel so lucky."
BMR came onto the ARCA RE/MAX Series scene a year and a half ago competing in a limited amount of races in 2004-2005. Robby Benton, Crew Chief and General Manager, has been with BMR from the beginning and since then witnessed this young team grow and mature into a competitive race team with a shot for the 2006 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship.
"I feel pretty fortunate to be involved with Brack Maggard Racing," Benton said. "Brack is the kind of car owner the sport could use a lot more of. He has stuck it out for over a year, out of his own pocket primarily, because he believed he could succeed at this. Brack has paid his dues as a car owner and deserves a shot at a championship with a solid sponsor, like Construct Corps...now he, and this team, have that opportunity."
Lusk and the BMR team attended the open test March 28th at Nashville Superspeedway successfully posting the 7th fastest time with a time of 30.320 at a speed of 157.916 MPH. The team is currently headed to Winchester and Salem Speedway to test before heading to back Nashville Superspeedway for this weekend's PGF Lester 150.
"This team has never been as prepared and determined to be a front runner as they are now," Benton said. "We have a great car owner, great team members, great cars and equipment, a great sponsor, and the one thing that most teams fall short on; chemistry. It's hard to acquire and even harder to maintain and I think that will be our most defining characteristic in 2006. There are several teams that are championship material, and the only way you will beat them is to stick together and get ahead when the season hits its stride in May, June and July. Preparation and teamwork is what it will take to win The 2006 ARCA Re/Max Series title."
Construct Corps began with one office in Orlando, FL. Since then, the company has flourished while staying on a strong growth curve, operating 13 branch offices throughout FL, TX, GA, VA, CO, and NC. Construct Corps has the ability to mobilize traveling crews on short notice nationwide, providing contractors the flexibility to take on projects wherever they may be. Construct Corps is well positioned to partner with companies that struggle to meet the challenges of a changing workforce, new legislation and high demand for skilled tradespeople.
Construct Corps prides itself on its integrity," Tashkin added. "To Construct Corps, integrity means 'do what you say you will do, when you say you'll do it.' This mentality is what has brought Construct Corps, Robby Benton, and the entire team at BMR together and is what clearly will build BMR and Construct Corps to a household name in the racing world."
