Bill France Four Crown Kicks off at Berlin ... The Berlin ARCA 200 kicks off the 2010 Bill France Four Crown. The complex slate of races at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway (August 7), New Jersey Motorsports Park (August 15), the Illinois State Fairgrounds (August 22), and Chicagoland Speedway (August 27) will test drivers and teams on four distinct types of tracks: a short track, a road course, a dirt track, and a speedway, respectively. The driver who accumulates the most points during these four races will earn the Bill France Four Crown, recognizing the driver's ability to perform well on a diverse combination of tracks.
All about Points ... George is currently eighth in the ARCA Racing Series point standings midway into the 20-race schedule.
Meet Tim George Jr. ... Tim George Jr. will sign autographs from 6:15-6:45 p.m. at Berlin Raceway on Saturday, as part of an ARCA Racing Series autograph session.
TIM GEORGE JR.:
What would it mean to you to win the Bill France Four Crown?
"I would love to win it. RCR definitely has a diverse fleet of cars that I can drive on the Bill France Four Crown tracks. I drove those tracks last year, so I feel confident going to those tracks the second time around and I think we should be pretty good in the points there."
How difficult is it to prepare for the Bill France Four Crown?
"Here at RCR it's not that hard because we plan so far ahead. We, basically, have all of our cars ready to go, including our dirt track cars and our short track cars. We're excited to go try to win all four of them."
