Mark Carter Joins Alliance of Action Sports to Work with MX Sports on Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship
MORGANTOWN, W.V. (April 21, 2009) - The Alliance of Action Sports (Alli) recently announced the addition of Mark Carter to the position of General Manager of Affiliate Properties. In his new capacity, Carter will be working on motocross with MX Sports, LLC, which is now in charge of the organization, commercial and media rights for the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships.
"The opportunity surrounding the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship is amazing," said Carter, who will be based in Alli's Los Angeles office. "I'm really looking forward to being a part of growing this sport to the next level. Motocross has desperately needed a solid media platform for growth and the partnership between Alli and MX Sports brings just that to this dynamic sport."
On December 3, 2008, Alli and MX Sports entered into a partnership to co-produce the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The addition of Carter establishes the groups' commitment to increase the global media and marketing outreach for American motocross.

Formerly of Saatchi & Saatchi (Los Angeles), Carter worked for the last three years on Toyota's action sports properties as Associate Director, including AMA Motocross, and brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
