AURORA, Ill. - EA SPORTS Supercross Presented by Speed Stick will - once again - be aired live on Pay-Per-View from the series' final round at Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium. Round 16 is the final destination of the tour and the champion will be crowned live on Pay-Per-View.
Packed with behind the scene interviews and unlimited access to the stars of EA SPORTS Supercross, fans can purchase this monumental event May 5th from iN-DEMAND, DirecTV, Dish Network, and Viewer's Choice Canada for $19.95. Watch as the question of who is the next champion is answered from the comfort of your own living room. Action will begin at 10:30 p.m. EST and 7:30 p.m. PST.
The Dave Coombs 125 East/West Shootout in Las Vegas will be the proving grounds to see who is the greatest 125cc supercross rider. Last year Team Suzuki's Travis Pastrana took control of the competition with his first-ever Dave Coombs 125 East/West Shootout win in front of a sold-out Sam Boyd Stadium. Who will it be this year?
History could be made for Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki's Ricky Carmichael, who leads in the 250cc series points standings, as he vies for his first 250cc EA SPORTS Supercross championship. Seven-time supercross champion Jeremy McGrath, who won last year's live Pay-Per-View event, is not ready to give up just yet as he currently sits second in the series points standings.
The final round of EA SPORTS Supercross will not only determine the champion of the sport's 27th year of competition, it will also be the final round of the Vans Triple Crown of Supercross. The Vans Triple Crown of Supercross is a three-race series built into the 16-round season that offers $500,000 to the winner of all three events, including Anaheim #2, Dallas, and Las Vegas. If no single rider wins all three events, $25,000 will be awarded to the rider with the most points scored in those three events.
