EA SPORTS Supercross Attendance Reaches All-Time High In 2001
791,273 Fans Attend EA SPORTS Supercross

AURORA, Ill. - The 2001 season of EA SPORTS Supercross Presented by Speed Stick reached an all-time high in attendance, entertaining 791,273 fans during the 16-event tour that visits some of the nations largest cities. Moreover, the tour's average attendance reached a pinnacle with 49,455, which is up from last year by more than 2,000 tickets.

Since 1986, when 385,535 fans attended the tour, EA SPORTS Supercross attendance has more than doubled. In 2001, a new stop was placed on the EA SPORTS Supercross map in Salt Lake City, Utah, which sold 42,135 tickets out of a possible 44,000. In Atlanta's Georgia Dome, EA SPORTS Supercross enjoyed its highest attendance of the season as 65,461 fans packed the house. The increased attendance numbers prove once again that EA SPORTS Supercross is the fastest growing motor sport in the world.
