After two top five performances Josh Hansen looked like he was ready to make his mark at Anaheim 2 aboard his factory KTM 250SXF.

Taking it somewhat easy in timed qualifying because of his cracked collarbone (suffered during a practice crash at Phoenix), Hansen easily made it into the night program. When the gate dropped for the second Supercross Lites heat race he got into the second spot early and easily held it for the remainder of the 6 lap race. Unfortunately, Hansen's main event would end prematurely as he pulled off after only one lap.

Martin Davalos went straight into the main with a ninth place finish in the first Supercross Lites heat race. That didn't give him the best pick on the gate for the main event, but that didn't stop Davalos from getting one of his patented good starts. With incredibly tight racing from 3rd place all the way through 10th, he spent the entire main event battling. A few small mistakes pushed him to 10th by race end, but Davalos learned a lot from Anaheim 2 and plans to eliminate those small mistakes in San Francisco.
