XM's Live Coverage Begins Saturday May 19 with Utah Grand Prix
WASHINGTON, DC, May 18, 2007 - XM, the exclusive home to racing's biggest stars, today announced that it will provide coverage of five upcoming American Le Mans Series (ALMS) events, starting with the Utah Grand Prix on Saturday, May 19, on XM Sports Nation (XMSN), XM's 24-hour sports channel (XM 144).
XM's coverage will begin at Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City for the Utah Grand Prix on Saturday, May 19, with a live broadcast of the race from 7:00-10:00 p.m. ET. John Hindhaugh, the voice of American Le Mans Radio, will provide turn-by-turn updates on the action.
In addition to the Utah Grand Prix, four future American Le Mans Series events will also be featured on XM Satellite Radio, including the Acura Sports Car Challenge of Mid-Ohio on July 21; Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix on September 1; Petit Le Mans on October 6; and Monterey Sports Car Championships on October 20.
