American Le Mans Series announces agency association with Performance 1 Enterprises, LLC.

BRASELTON, Ga. (April 1, 2003) -- The American Le Mans Series (ALMS) has announced that it has entered into a sponsorship sales agreement with Performance 1 Enterprises, LLC. Performance 1, headquartered in Concord, N.C., is one of the premier motor sports marketing and merchandise companies within the motor sports industry.

As part of this new alliance, Performance 1 will be soliciting corporate sponsors for participation within the American Le Mans Series in several categories including series title sponsorship, contingency sponsors and official status partners.

"Performance 1 has a proven track record of raising sponsorship dollars in the motor sports arena and we believe that the American Le Mans Series can benefit from that experience to assist us in obtaining corporate partners," said Mike Clark, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing for the ALMS.

"I met the principals of Performance 1 last year at several American Le Mans Series races and found them to be very knowledgeable about sports car racing," said Scott Atherton, President and CEO of the ALMS. "When we sat down with them to negotiate a marketing partnership agreement they were very specific in how they would proceed in assisting us in growing the series."
