SPEED Channel to review ALMS season prior to Trois-Rivieres race

BRASELTON, Ga. (July 29, 2002) -- The SPEED Channel will review the first half of the 2002 American Le Mans Series season in an expanded broadcast prior to Saturday's telecast of Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.

The telecast will start at 2 p.m. (EDT) with a look back at the first five races of the season, including highlights, interviews and analysis. The three-hour Trois-Rivieres race will start at 2:45 p.m., with the checkered flag falling at 5:45 p.m. The telecast will conclude with interviews with the winning drivers.

Though Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres has been a successful motorsports festival for 33 years, this year's event has been expanded to feature the American Le Mans Series for the first time.

SPEED Channel is covering six American Le Mans Series races live this season and will present the final two events of the season in October from the Miami Downtown Street Circuit and from Road Atlanta.
