Coca-Cola Releases Limited Edition Sebring Commemorative
Sebring, FL -- Coca-Cola has released a limited edition bottle and six-pack carrier commemorating the Golden Anniversary of the Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring Presented by Dodge. The special packaging officially went on sale Friday in Sebring and throughout central Florida. America's oldest sports car endurance race runs March 13-16, at the historic Sebring International Raceway.
"Coca-Cola has been a major marketing partner with Sebring for many years, and this special 50th anniversary packaging will be a great collectible for Sebring fans," stated Sebring Raceway Director Tres Stephenson.
"Sebring is one of America's legendary motorsports events," stated Ted Kudlinski, Coca-Cola sales center manager. "Coca-Cola is proud to commemorate the historic Golden Anniversary of the 12 Hours of Sebring. We are overwhelmed by the reaction thus far from race fans throughout central Florida."
Race fans attending the Golden Anniversary Sebring classic will be able to purchase the limited edition Coca-Cola bottles at the Sebring International Raceway Gift Shop, located adjacent to the front entrance, while supplies last.
Gates open Wednesday, March 13, for four-days of world-class road racing. Sebring Supertickets (both 4-day and Saturday-only tickets) are available at advance purchase rates (a savings of $10 per ticket) through March 1st. After that date, gate prices will apply. Among the highlights of Sebring's 50th Anniversary will be the Gallery of Champions display in the paddock, featuring 20 former Sebring-winning cars, and the Legends of Sebring autograph session on Friday, March 15, with over 30 former Sebring-winning drivers scheduled to attend.
