The Racer's Group had a strong start at the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, starting at ninth in class.

Soon after Michael Schrom took over the No. 66 car from team owner and driver, Kevin Buckler in hour two of the race, an incident involving the Audi No 2 car damaged the right front suspension to The Racer's Group No 66 car.

It's very unfortunate that we couldn't finish the race. The team, crew and drivers put a lot of effort into this, but that's the risk you take with motorsports." Schrom said of the incident

Third driver, Darren Law did not get behind the wheel.

Hot weather combined with slick track conditions has made it difficult for many teams in the 50th running of the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring.
