Six Hour Report From Sebring: Alex Job Racing Porsches, BAM! Porsche Hold First Three GT Positions

SEBRING -- March 20 -- Jorg Bergmeister/Timo Bernhard/Sascha Maassen, driving their Alex Job Racing McKenna Porsche/mail2web Porsche 911 GT3 RSR under the hot Florida sun, have regained the lead at the six hour mark at the 52nd Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Bernhard took the lead back from Lucas Luhr, who is driving the other Alex Job Racing Porsche in hour five when Luhr was rear-ended by the GT-class Morgan. Although Luhr/Lieb/Dumas car was not damaged, the bump was enough to give Timo a path ahead. Luhr is trying to win his fifth straight Sebring class title, a result that would allow him to pass the legendary Bob Holbert, who won four in a row in the 1960s.

Third is the BAM! Porsche driving by Baron/Hindery/Rockenfeller suffered a broke windshield when hit by another GT car, and spent several hours running with a cracked windshield. They finally changed the windshield during their pit stop in the fifth hou Leo Hindery is now in the car,

After the fourth-place Ferrari, the Flying Lizard Porsche 911 GT3 RSR of Johannes van Overbeek/John Fogarty/Darren Law holds down fifth, and the White Lightning/Petersen Motorsport Porsche of David Murry/Craig Stanton is sixth.
