Petersen Motorsports, Alex Job Racing start to pull away from GT field at Sebring -- Hour Six

--The Sascha Maassen/Lucas Luhr Alex Job Racing McKenna Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Petersen Motorsports Porsche of Johnny Mowlem/Nic Jonsson/Craig Stanton now have three laps on the Kevin Buckler/Jim Pace/Eliseo Salazar The Racer's Group Porsche--

SEBRING, Florida - March 15 -- Despite the heat and humidity (85 degrees F and 85 percent humidity) with a track temperature approaching 100 degrees F, the top three Porsche 911 GT3 RS racers are in the first three positions in the GT class at the halfway point (six hours) of the Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring.

The Petersen Motorsports Porsche of Johnny Mowlem/Nic Jonsson/Craig Stanton led during hour five, but they fell out of synch with pit stops, and the Maassen/Luhr #23 Alex Job Racing McKenna Porsche took the top spot and a one lap lead at hour six. The Kevin Buckler/Jim Pace/Eliseo Salazar The Racer's Group Porsche continues to run third, three laps behind the leaders.

Other six-hour notes:

--The #24 Bernhard/Bergmesiter Alex Job Racing McKenna Porsche is now up to 13th place in class after its extended transmission problem earlier in the event. They are two laps behind the Zip Racing Porsche of Ivankovich/Lalley/Pumpelly, who are one lap behind the Orbit Racing Porsche of Policastro/Ploicastro/Fitzgerald, who are 11th in class.
