Miracle Motorsports Qualifies for the Mobil 1 Tweleve Hours of Sebring

Sebring, FL-(March 18, 2004) Qualifying sessions commenced this afternoon for the 52nd running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Miracle Motorsports/American Spirit Racing's #10 Lola Nissan Entry was being piloted by Ian James of Kissimmee, FL. Running in the LMP2 class, James led the Nissan around the 3.7 mile circuit at an average speed of 108.6 mph, placing the #10 car 4th in class, and 19th overall on the grid for Saturday's running of the 12-hour event.

Miracle Motorsports, based in Winter Haven, FL, is a local favorite with the fans. John Macaluso, team owner and driver of the Lola Nissan, is excited about being listed in 4th place. "We are in a very good position for Saturday's race. Ian did a great job qualifying the car. Ian, Mike (Borkowski, of Scottsdale, AZ) and I, have been busy this week getting the set up just right on the car. We've been chasing a few gremlins, but seem to have everything running pretty smoothly at this point," states Macaluso. "We look forward to putting on a good show this weekend. We've had Mid-Florida (Bank) sign on as a co-sponsor for this event, and want to give the folks there a race they won't forget!" (Please visit www.midflorida.com)
