March 21, 2009 -- 1:30 pm ET --At the three hour mark, one quarter of the way into the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the No. 44 Flying Lizard Porsche is in seventh and No. 45 is eighth out of the 13-car GT2 field. It was a rough start for the Lizards. Joerg Bergmeister started second on the grid in the No. 45, and Seth Neiman started 13th. A clean race start for the entire field soon turned ugly for the Lizards when on the fourth lap the No. 45 was hit by the No. 40 Robertson Racing Ford as the No. 40 attempted to pass. The impact damaged the left rear suspension of the No. 45, sending Joerg back to the pits. The crew replaced the left rear toe link in the pits but the 12-minute unplanned pit stop sent Joerg to the back of the GT2 pack. Meanwhile, the No. 44 spun on track early in the race, narrowly avoiding contact with the tire wall, resulting in an unplanned pit stop for tires.

After the bumpy beginning, the Lizards have stayed out of trouble and 3 hours into the race are in P 7 and P 8. In both Lizard Porsches, their third driver is now on his first stint. Johannes van Overbeek is behind the wheel of the No. 44 (Seth Neiman started and Darren Law had the second stint).

In the No. 45, Marc Lieb is at the wheel (Joerg Bergmeister started and Patrick Long was second). The GT2 leader is the No. 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari.

The No. 45 has the fastest GT2 time of the race so far, with a 2:03.365.
