Ni Amorim will be racing in the next 12hr. of Sebring, once again at the wheel of a Freisinger Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3-RS. This will be Ni Amorim's 3rd Sebring start, and he is hoping to improve on his 3rd place in GTS at the wheel of an ORECA Dodge Viper GTS-R in 2000.

"After a 3rd place in class and 10th overall at the Rolex Daytona in January," remarked Ni Amorim ," where a class win was on the cards but for an accident with a slower car when one of my co-drivers was at the wheel, I feel very confident that we will be able to fight for a class win, although the level of competition is much stronger than at Daytona. A great result at Sebring is crucial to us, and it's achievable on merit. The car is running well, the team is doing a great job, is very motivated and has experience of Sebring. The Porsche 911 GT3-RS is a proven car and it's history of performance and reliability are the best in the world. The performance of my team mates was faultless at Daytona, so we are looking good.

"I am honoured to be at the 50th Anniversary of Sebring, Not only is Sebring the biggest sportscar race in the USA, it's only second to Le Mans in terms of importance and difficulty."

Ni Amorim is still talking with teams in LMP900, LMP 675, GTS or GT for the remaining races of the ALMS, either for one off events or a complete programme, as they not clash with his program in the FIA GT series.
