Quotes after the race

JJ Lehto (Team ADT Champion Racing Audi R8 #38): "Qualifying was cancelled yesterday so I thought I'd do it today in the first corner to get past Marco (Werner). Then traffic caused James (Weaver) to lose momentum exiting the last turn onto the start finish straight which allowed me to take the lead. The Audi was perfect for my entire stint. I had no problems whatsoever apart from the traffic. It's good to be winning again and I'm sure there are more to come this season."

Marco Werner (Infineon Team Joest Audi R8 #1): "At the start, JJ Lehto surprised me on the left side where I didn't expect him. I had no problem to follow him during the first laps, but it became difficult for me in traffic. I did not want to make any mistake and not risk a collision. Maybe I was a little bit too careful. It did not work out today. But standing again on the podium is a nice feeling."

Dr Wolfgang Ullrich (Head of Audi Sport): "This was a hard and exciting race with a very fast pace. The MG Lolas were very fast and did not make life easy for our customer teams. I think this was only the beginning of an exciting season. It will be very tight between the Audi customer teams and the LMP 675 prototypes from MG Lola."
