Miracle Motorsports adds another win for Courage's C65 chassis in the ALMS LMP2 class.

With this victory, Miracle Motorsports takes the lead again in the team and drivers standings and reinforces Courage's lead in the ALMS LMP2 manufacturer championship.

What a difference a year makes! Last year, for it's debut on American sole, the AER powered C65 won this race easily. This year the gods were a little less in favor as the C65 driven by Chris McMurry was hit in lap 3 by a GT1, needing a non planned pit stop for repairs. A long pursuit race started showing the inherent speed and reliability of Miracle Motorsports' C65 resulting in the 3rd victory of the season for the Florida based team.

With this 3rd victory Chris McMurry and Jeff Bucknum are back in the lead of the LMP2 drivers championship and Miracle Motorsports does the same in the teams standings resulting in a more important lead for Courage in ALMS LMP2 Manufacturers championship. Which proves the efficiency of Courage's LMP2 on both ends of the Atlantic as in the LMES the C65 is alo in the lead in the LMP2 standings.

For BK-Motorsports the race ended prematurely as an engine problem resulted in the first DNF for the team.

Next race of the ALMS Championship will be the Grand Prix of Mosport on 4th September.
