BRYAN SELLERS AND TEAM FALKEN TIRE RETURN TO ROAD AMERICA
Elkhart Lake, WI -- August, 20 Bryan Sellers is happy to return to a track he knows and loves -- Road America in Elkhart Lake -- for the next round of the 2010 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón. Sellers and his Team Falken Tire crew are prepared and ready to take the green flag at the 2010 American Le Mans Series -- powered by eStar, and they have come prepared.
Sellers and Team Falken Tire are no strangers to the 4.048-mile permanent road course. The team tested their #17 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR at Road America earlier in the year, and collected valuable data and information that they plan to use to their advantage. "I have high hopes coming into this race," said Sellers. "We were able to test here earlier this summer and [we] were able to translate what we learned into tire development." The Team Falken Tire crew has proved all season that they know how to take data and convert it into speed and reliability -- both key factors in competitive endurance racing.
Road America is a legendary fixture in the racing community. Racers relish the circuit's challenging turns, curves and high-speed straights. The track follows the sweeping, rolling hills of the glacially-formed terrain of southeast Wisconsin, providing drivers and riders with dramatic elevation changes. Said Sellers, "Road America is one of the greatest tracks in the world. The racing at Road America always proves to be worth watching." Many world champions return yearly to set new records, as do the faithful fans to watch them.
Team Falken Tire has continued to show their dedication and commitment to tire development and performance progression throughout the season, and Road America will be no different. "Team Falken Tire has done a lot of prep work this weekend," remarked Sellers, "and I hope we will be able to showcase it."
