Rebellion Racing arrived at the Petit Le Mans event in October of this year with one goal: To take the overall victory which they did. After their stunning win at the American Le Mans season finale at Road Atlanta, team manager Bart Hayden told Motorsport.com that they would return to the United States.

Hayden smiled when he said, “We will return next year for Sebring!” The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the most demanding events for any team to challenge; but the privateer LMP1 Lola B12/60 Toyota team likes a good fight. They also like to stand on the top step of the podium.

Hayden also hinted after their Petit Le Mans victory that they “will return to Road Atlanta”!

Rebellion does not shy away from pushing themselves to the limit. This past season they contested the FIA World Endurance Championship, and wrapped up the P1 privateer trophy in Fuji, Japan prior to arriving in Atlanta, Georgia.

After Neel Jani, Nicolas Prost, and third driver for Petit, Andrea Belicchi, celebrated Rebellion’s first ALMS victory with the their team but they all enjoyed the ALMS fans, and the reception shown to them by their rivals and series. Prost said before the Petit race, “This reminds me of Le Mans, so many people here.”

The Rebellion crew members, and their drivers, had little time to savor the PLM win as they had to leave for their final race of the year; WEC’s 6 Hours of Shanghai in China.

With three races already on their 2013 calendar – Austin will host one of the WEC rounds at the Circuit of The Americas --Hayden indicted that they “might be here more often”.

Hayden's choice of words "more often" apparently may actually be a full-season fight between Rebellion and for sure the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD ARX Honda team.

While Rebellion's manager has not confirmed their plans for next year, John Dagys broke the news yesterday, November 30th, in exclusive column on SPEED.com. Dagys wrote: “Rebellion Racing is set for a championship attack on the American Le Mans Series in 2013.”
