PK Sport's Mike Pickup last week spent two days at Porsche Motorsport in Germany and as a result of discussions there has decided to continue PK Sport's race programme after Le Mans by taking the team forward to contest the remainder of the American Le Mans Series in North America.

The teams two distinctive yellow liveried Porsche's will be flown to the United States after the French endurance classic and the team will use Atlanta as a base for it's North American operations.

The team has secured backing from Pirelli and support from Porsche Motorsport North America.

Robin Liddell who drives for PK Sport at Le Mans will continue with the team and with two new signings who are planned to be announced this week. A talented fourth driver is being sought for the programme to partner Robin Liddell.

Mike Pickup said "I am delighted to have secured support allowing the team to follow up Sebring and contest the whole series with a very strong driver line up".
