It was certainly an easy day at the office for Luhr who completed two timed laps and registered his fastest time of one minute 51.460 seconds on his second orbit of the 4-mile track, placing him 2.1 seconds quicker than the second place Dyson Racing car.

Pickett Racing will be back on track Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET for the warm up session, which will be followed by Round 6 of the ALMS season at 3:00 p.m. ET. The Orion Energy Systems 245 at Road America will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, August 11 from 3:00 pm ET.

Lucas Luhr - driver #6 Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03c: "The Muscle Milk HPD car was good today and ran perfect like always. We struggled a little bit with the temperature difference between yesterday and today as it took a little more time to get our tires up to temperature but in the end it worked out fine. It's always great fun to drive around here at Road America especially in qualifying if there is no traffic. It's a unique track and I think it's one of the best tracks in the world."
