SARASOTA, FLA. (July 24, 2002) -ROC Engineering, based in Monte-Blanc, France, today announced that current Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship runner-up Jeffrey Jones has been selected to drive their Reynard 2KQ ROC/Volkswagen LMP 675 prototype in the upcoming Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

Jones successfully teamed with fellow Zetec Championship alumni Ryan Jones, his brother and his father, Jeff Jones during the 12 hours of Sebring, driving the ROC team car to a second place finish, a day after capturing his first win in the Zetec Championship.

"I really enjoyed driving for ROC at Sebring," said Jones, who was pleased with the announcement. "I look forward to a great drive at Road Atlanta, as well as some further United States and European races. We have a great team and car, as was shown at Sebring."

ROC recently won their class, for the second consecutive time at the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship season continues with Rounds Nine and Ten at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 10-11.
