Spring Lake, Michigan -- ACEMCO Motorsports will head north of the border for round eight of the American Le Mans Series race to be run at Mosport International Raceway on September 4th.

The duo of Johnny Mowlem and Terry Borchller are looking to come back from a DNF at the last event at Road America. Mowlem is excited about the race-by-race improvement of the Saleen S7-R. "We thought we would be real good at Road America. I think that whether the Saleen S7R suits a certaintype of circuit is now becoming immaterial as the team are moving forward at every race. I hope that we can continue to improve at Mosport as well, although really all we are now looking for is a piece of luck and our whole season could change in one swoop! They say that you make your own luck so the whole ACEMCO team will be working really hard to make some good luck!"

"The S7 really likes Mosport," exclaims Borcheller. "The circuit has a lot of undulation and off-camber turns. The S7 is a good car in the transitions, from braking to turn-in. We have been improving steadily since Infineon and I hope that Jeff and the crew can keep the improvements coming. It is refreshing to be able to mix-it-up a little at the front of the GT1 field."

"We have had a couple of tough races," said Jeff Giangrande, team owner. "The crash in Portland and the wheel gone missing at Road America. We have some improved performance and are showing more speed on the track, but we need to close the deal and finish the race. We have Petit Le Mans on the horizon, so we need to get it together as a team. Mosport will be an interesting show case for our car. The track has a layout that should be friendly to the S7."

The race from Mosport International Raceway will be televised on the Speed Channel September 4th starting at 5:00 p.m. EST.
