This will be the third double-header this year (Trois-Rivieres & Road America) for Michael and Tomy.
"It's great to be back in Miami," stated Jon Lewis, president & owner of American Spirit Racing, Inc. "Miami has always been a favorite stop of mine. Back in the late 80's and early 90's when I was a driver myself, I always looked forward to the Miami Grand Prix. It was also the site of my first race in a GTP prototype. Miami is a beautiful city with fantastic fans. This event is one of the main reasons why my wife Julie and I moved to Florida." American Spirit Racing has been headquartered in Cape Coral, Florida since 1994. "The Riley & Scott is well suited for street circuits and we're searching for our first podium at Miami."
"To have Benihana back with us again in 2004 for the Grand Prix Americas is wonderful" comments Lewis. "They are a valued partner along with our other sponsors, AmeriSuites, Westward and Stuck On You, the movie." "Last year, Tomy and Michael learned how to cook Benihana style," Lewis joked. "They're both very talented drivers, but I think they should leave the cooking to the chefs."
