NOTES OF INTEREST
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, formerly known as Laguna Seca Raceway, has a long history of sports car racing and is one of the most popular stops on the American Le Mans Series schedule. The series has visited the scenic facility in each season since the formation of the series in 1999. The raceway is known for its exciting and challenging "corkscrew," a downhill series of left and right turns that sends electricity up the spine of even the most experienced drivers. In addition to the raceway, visitors enjoy the beautiful Monterey Peninsula area.
