Flying Lizard Announces Driver Lineup for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring
March 1, 2005-SONOMA, Calif.--Flying Lizard Motorsports announced today its driver lineup for the upcoming Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. For the 12-hour endurance race on March 19, Flying Lizard drivers Johannes van Overbeek and Jon Fogarty, who will pilot the team's No. 45 Porsche this season, will reunite with 2004 teammate Darren Law. The trio finished fourth in GT in the 2004 race. David Murry joins the team's sister Porsche No. 44, which will be driven by Lonnie Pechnik and Seth Neiman again in 2005.
The 2005 race is the second run at Sebring for the GT2 team and its distinctive red, black, and silver Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs. "Sebring is where it all began for us last year and I'm looking forward to having Darren with us again at the race. Driving together in 2004 helped us develop a complementary style and he will be able to fit in quickly to the team," said van Overbeek.
Teammate Pechnik added, "David will be a great addition to the No. 44 Porsche. He brings a lot of previous Sebring experience to the team, which will be helpful as we put into place what we learned from our challenges here in 2004."
