"We are excited about continuing our partnership with the Grand Prix Americas," said Gil Katzman, regional director of sales & marketing, InterContinental Miami. "The exposure from the Grand Prix Americas weekend is great for the hotels in the area and for the City of Miami in general, and it therefore makes perfect business sense to partner with such a wonderful event."

Miami is the gateway to the Caribbean and South America, and Bridgestone is excited to participate in such a vibrant and diverse region that brings together so many wonderful cultures. Just as race organizers are building on the momentum of the 2002 race, we look to take Bridgestone's presence to the next level in and around the City of Miami at the 2003 event."
