HOUSTON, Mar. 17, 2006 - The return of the Grand Prix of Houston was only announced a few months ago, but the event has already secured major sponsorship agreements with fourteen new partners: Aztec Party and Tent Rentals, Budweiser, Fast Trac Transportation Systems, FiestaMarts, Fingers Furniture, Gables, Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Houston Chronicle, Hyatt Regency Houston, Reliant Energy, Shipley Do-Nuts, Sun Coast Resources, UnitedHealthcare, and Wells Fargo. These companies will be among the official sponsors of the Grand Prix of Houston when the high-speed thrills of world-class motorsports roar into Reliant Park on May 11 - 13.

UnitedHealthcare, a nationwide provider of consumer-oriented health benefit plans and services, has agreed to be a featured sponsor of the Grand Prix of Houston. As part of the sponsorship agreement, UnitedHealthcare will receive naming rights and signage on both a designated track turn and a pedestrian bridge. "United Healthcare Turn" will include prominent UnitedHealthcare signage and will be viewed by millions of fans in the worldwide television audience. "The UnitedHealthcare Bridge" will be one of the pedestrian bridges that will enable the more than 150,000 fans at the Grand Prix of Houston to cross over the track into the infield, giving the company not only a significant presence on the bridge but also recognition on event maps and directional signage.

UnitedHealthcare will also receive prominent signage throughout the Grand Prix of Houston, including trackside banners, a pedestrian bridge, and a designated track turn. The sponsorship agreement also includes corporate hospitality, inclusion in all Grand Prix of Houston marketing materials, and cross-promotional opportunities.

Budweiser will be a featured sponsor and has been named the official beer of the Grand Prix of Houston. Budweiser will also be a featured sponsor of the boxing matches taking place on Thursday, May 11 as part of the Grand Prix of Houston's exciting schedule of events. Budweiser will have significant exposure throughout the Grand Prix of Houston with public address announcements, television spots on the event's diamond vision screens, advertising in the event program, and prominent signage on "Budweiser Corner" and "Budweiser Bridge", another pedestrian bridge at the Grand Prix of Houston.

Wells Fargo represents another prominent brand that has aligned itself with the Grand Prix of Houston. Wells Fargo, which will be the official financial services company of the Grand Prix of Houston, will receive public address announcements, television spots on the event's diamond vision screens and advertising in the event program. The famous Wells Fargo stagecoach, a symbol of blazing new trails for more than a 150 years, will be on display at the event.

Wells Fargo also will host the Grand Prix of Houston show car at two locations and will conduct a number of store promotions to generate excitement for the event.

Fast Trac Transportation, a fast growing Houston-based company, will also make its presence felt at the Grand Prix of Houston as the title sponsor of the event's Atlantic Series race, to be called the Fast Trac 100. Fast Trac, a leading industrial and airfreight transportation company, will proudly display the Fast Trac 100 and Grand Prix of Houston logos on each of the 100+ trucks that make up the company's transportation fleet. Fast Trac will also use the Grand Prix of Houston as a hospitality opportunity for the company's customers.

Another Houston-based company that has stepped up in support of the Grand Prix of Houston is FiestaMarts, one of the leading grocery retailers in the Houston area. As part of the sponsorship agreement, Fiesta will be a featured sponsor of the boxing event promoted by Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. Other elements of the sponsorship agreement include Grand Prix of Houston tickets for employee and client benefits, as well as logo inclusion on all Grand Prix of Houston advertising, printed materials, and the event website at grandprixofhouston.com.

Fiesta will also give away a dream prize to one lucky winner during the "Ultimate Weekend of Speed" Contest. Contestants will register at Houston-area FiestaMart locations, and one winner will receive a Grand Prix of Houston prize package that includes VIP 3-day Stadium Club tickets, a parking pass, pace car ride, and pit passes.

The Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau has also committed to supporting the Grand Prix of Houston and will be recognized as an official sponsor. The GHCVB will receive trackside signage, program advertising, logo inclusion on Grand Prix of Houston marketing materials, public address announcements, and television spots on the event's diamond vision screens. The GHCVB will also receive tickets and corporate hospitality for special guests and promotional purposes.

Reliant Energy will be the official electricity provider of the Grand Prix of Houston, which is taking place at Reliant Park, the sports and entertainment complex that bears the energy company's name. As part of the agreement, Reliant Energy will be offering its customers special ticket discounts for the Grand Prix of Houston through bill inserts and www.ReliantPowerZone.com.

Sun Coast Resources, one of the largest petroleum marketers in the nation, will also be an official sponsor of the Grand Prix of Houston. Sun Coast Resources will receive corporate hospitality, on-site banners, program advertisements, and television spots on the event's diamond vision screens.

Shipley Do-Nuts, the famous Houston-based do-nut stores with approximately 200 locations in six states, will be an official sponsor and the official do-nut supplier of the Grand Prix of Houston. With the sponsorship, Shipley Do-Nuts will receive advertising in the event program, event tickets, public address announcements, and logo recognition in Grand Prix of Houston marketing materials and the event website.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, a 40-foot diameter Shipley Do-Nuts logo will be painted on the racetrack in front of the main grandstands between turn 9 and the Start-Finish line. In addition, the winning drivers of the Lone Star Grand Prix of May 12 and the Grand Prix of Houston on May 13 will be asked to perform "do-nuts" with their winning cars on the Shipley Do-Nuts logo.

Aztec will receive premium corporate hospitality for the Grand Prix of Houston, as well as logo recognition on the event marketing materials and event website at grandprixofhouston.com.

Finger Furniture has been named the official furniture store of the Grand Prix of Houston. As part of the sponsorship agreement, Finger Furniture will provide marketing support to the Grand Prix of Houston by tagging television and radio advertising with Grand Prix of Houston messaging during the months of April and May. Finger Furniture will receive television spots on the event's diamond vision screens, advertising in the event program, corporate hospitality, and on-site banners displaying the company's logo.

The Houston Chronicle, Houston's largest daily newspaper with a circulation of over 500,000, will also be an official sponsor of the Grand Prix of Houston. The Houston Chronicle will partner with the Grand Prix of Houston on various promotional opportunities leading up to the weekend events at Reliant Park.

The Hyatt Regency Houston has been designated the headquarters hotel of the Grand Prix of Houston, giving visitors world-class accommodations to enjoy while they are in town for the event. The Hyatt Regency Houston, a 977-room hotel located in the downtown area, is considered one of the premier properties in Houston and has served as a key hotel for recent major sporting events such as the 2004 Super Bowl and the 2004 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. In addition, the Hyatt Regency Houston was the primary hotel property for the Grand Prix of Houston from 1998-2001.
