Braselton, Georgia -- Audi S4 drivers Michael Galati and Derek Bell qualified fourth and eleventh respectively for the one-hour Speedvision World Challenge race at Road Atlanta.

Michael Galati posted a time of 1:32.451 with a speed of 98.906 mph, securing a second row starting position for tomorrow's race. Derek Bell drove his Audi to an eleventh place qualifying effort with a time of 1:33.671 and 97.618 mph, putting both S4s below the old track record.

The early afternoon qualifying session saw the top 12 GT cars post times under the track record. Terry Borcheller, driving a Mustang, took pole position with a time of 1:31.966.

After difficult outings in the two previous events in Quebec and Texas, the team is happy to return to the front of the field for the start of the race.

Quotes for Qualifying: Derek Bell, Legends of Motorsport/Audi S4 Competition: "We did a couple of minor changes to the car before qualifying which seemed to help a little. I had a difficult time trying to get a clear lap to post a good time. For the race we need a good clean start."

Michael Galati, Champion Audi/ Audi S4 Competition: "It is nice to be back in the top five in qualifying again after the last two races. We are only three-tenths off the pole. The car is running great. In the race, we will need to run consistent laps and push the pace."

Rod Bymaster, manager, Audi Sport North America: "We are looking forward to a very competitive race. Michael and Derek are comfortable with the cars. We will have to be patient and push our competitors to use up their tires."
