Three teams for Wallace
Andy Wallace completed a three-car trick last week, promising himself a full diary for the 2001 season. On Tuesday the 39-year-old Englishman was confirmed as a member of the Bentley EXP Speed 8 team for Le Mans, and after meeting Dave Maraj on Thursday he was able to confirm a contract to drive the Champion Motorsports team Audi R8 in the entire American Le Mans Series.

Wallace followed this on Friday by signing with Rob Dyson to compete in selected Grand-American events in Dyson Racing's Riley & Scott. This programme begins with next month's Rolex 24, and will continue with the latest Mk3C model at Phoenix and Watkins Glen.

Johansson close to a deal
Stefan Johansson is close to a deal with Audi to buy and run an R8 in the European Le Mans Series, and at Le Mans. He is expected to announce a tie-up with a European team.

BMW announces driver line-up
BMW has announced that Fredrik Ekblom and Dirk Mueller will join JJ Lehto and Joerg Mueller in the M3s prepared by Schnitzer for the ALMS LM-GT category. The PTG team's BMW drivers will include Hans Stuck, Bill Auberlen and Boris Said.

Westward Racing team notes
Richard Dean has joined Justin Bell on the list of possibles for the Westward Racing team, which will run two Panoz in the European Le Mans Series and at Le Mans. Jay Cochran leads the team, and Peter Boss is the other named driver.
