The seatholder of the Czech A1 team Antonin Charouz has decided to take the opportunity of the rules of the World Cup of Motorsport and is going to nominate more drivers for the upcoming Skoda Transportation A1GP race at Brno. The decision about the race driver will be taken after Friday's rookie test. Erik Janis will do the rookie test and much more experienced Tomas Enge will be on standby just in case that the pressure of the home race would be too high.

Charouz stresses that there is nothing against your Erik. "It is quite normal to nominate more drivers for one weekend and we want to use this possibility for our race event. Tomas has got much more experience comparing to Erik and he has also confirmed that the pain of the left elbow easing off, so he would be able to race at the weekend," says Charouz. "There is nothing against Erik. If he is quick and cool on Friday he will do the whole weekend. Home race in such a big championship always brings a lot of pressure and we want to be prepared in the best possible way. This is the reason why we have expanded the nomination."
