TEAM CHINA STRUGGLES WITH SET UP IN PORTUGAL

An eighth's place and two (still provisional) world championship points cannot hide the frustration of both his team and Ho-Pin Tung about this weekends results in the Portugal session of the A1GP-championship. The Chinese driver speaks of one of the most difficult weekends of his career. 'The set up of the car was difficult all weekend', the Chinese hero comments after the race. 'We have tried everything, the team worked very hard to find the right set up, but we did not manage to get it right. The nice result in the feature race was thanks to the constant pushing I did and of course thanks to the great number of incidents.'

Ho-Pin did what he had to do he drove a faultless race, made no mistakes. In Sunday's main race Ho-Pin Tung had one of his splendid starts by overtaking two cars in the very early stages of the race. 'It is clear that the team and I still have a lot of work to do, with Great Britain and Mexico coming up. 'At many occasions this year we were heading for good results when technical woes prevented us from scoring, now we scored points but we could have done so much better. I did today what I had to do, I brought the care home safely and that is not what everybody can say.'
