As a new member of the official Honda team, this is the Portuguese driver's first experience of the festivities.

The team of the rising sun made this event a very unique celebration and Tiago Monteiro could not be happier with his new collaboration with the Honda family and such an ambitious project as their new participation in the World Touring Car Championship, WTCC.

"It is very pleasing to be present for these celebrations that bring together all those involved in projects that Honda is developing worldwide.

For me, the feeling is reinforced by the fact that the brand will be present in the FIA WTCC," said Tiago Monteiro, "We know that other manufacturers and other drivers have entered into the championship and it will be a very selective and rewarding experience at a very high level.

I know that a lot is expected from the WTCC and my goal is to match the best possible results with our expectations."

From February 11 to 13, Tiago Monteiro will be at the Aragon circuit for three intensive days of testing where he will have the opportunity to work on the new Honda.
